A. Virginia Lothes, 93, of Zanesville died at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Cedar Hill Care Center. She was born August 12, 1915 in Newark, a daughter of the late Delbert and Helen McIntosh Mason. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Virginia loved playing Bridge and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star# 52. Surviving are three sons, Delbert ( Sharon) Lothes of Powell, William L. ( Jane) Lothes of Dayton and Richard K. (Lois) Lothes of Zanesville; ten grandchildren, Chip ( Cathy) Lothes, Eric (Julie) Lothes, Peter ( Kris) Lothes, Kim Parades, Kelly ( Sean) Pike, Grant (Anne) Lothes, Juli Lothes, Ashley Lothes, Reagan Lothes and Morgan Lothes; eleven great grandchildren, Jordan, Gretchen, Mitchell, Natalie, Kristen, Sydney, Alexa, Kaitlyn, Brooke, Alec and Alli; a great great grandson, Hayden. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Lester C. Lothes, who died March 22, 1990. Friends may call from 2-4 on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville and one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held at Noon Monday, July 6, 2009 at the funeral home with Dr. L. Steven Fewell and Rev. Tom England officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
