Albert J Jordan

Albert J. Jordan, 64, of Frazeysburg, died at 12:21 A.M. on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the Genesis Good Samaritan emergency room. He was born May 12, 1949, in Columbus, a son of Margaret Jordan of Columbus and the late Jesse Jordan. He retired after 25 years of service for General Electric, was a United States Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a Purple Heart recipient. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 32 years Jamie Dollings Jordan, who he married March 14, 1981; a son Josh Jordan of Columbus; two grandchildren Sofia and Gabrielle; four brothers, Jesse, Jason, Jim, and André; a sister Barbara Stevens; a sister-in-law Michele (Danny) Johnson; a brother-in-law Jeffrey Dollings; his beloved four legged friend Lucy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Regina, Deborah, and Kathy. No calling hours will be observed and a dignified cremation has taken place. His cremains will be scattered on the family farm. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
