Albert Parmer, 79, of Chandlersville, died at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his home. He was born June 19, 1941, in Woodsfield, a son of the late Lawrence and Ida (Brown) Parmer. He was the owner operator of Muffler & Tire Center, Inc. for fifty two years and a member of the Muskingum Area Real Estate Association. Albert loved to farm, fish, hunt, and enjoyed square dancing.
He is survived by his wife of forty seven years, Barbara J. (Meredith) Parmer, whom he married October 18, 1974; three daughters, Kim Brandfass, Tammy Ashton, and Albertina Wolfe; three sons, Wes (Jamie) Parmer, Albert E. (Terry) Parmer, Jr., and Brian C. (Deborah) Parmer; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Luvadia Touvell and Rita (Bob) Miller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and Phil Parmer, and a sister, Faye Powell.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, with Rev. Jamie Harrop officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
The family requests that self-provided face masks be worn and social distancing be observed during the calling hours and funeral service.
