Alex R. Tisonyai

Alex R. Tisonyai, 89, of Zanesville died at 3:20 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born January 21, 1919 in Coshocton, Ohio a son of the late John and Mary Sabo Tisonyai. He retired from Dunzweiler Realty as a Real Estate Agent. Alex loved playing cards especially Euchre and all sports. Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years, Donna B. Shively Tisonyai, whom he married August 1, 1964 of the home, two sons, Larry Tisonyai of Burbank, CA. and Randy (Debbie) Tisonyai of Zanesville; a daughter, Terri ( Brent) Taylor of Duncan Falls; four grandchildren, Jason & Joshua Tisonyai, Amy (Pat) Williams and Bryan (Elaine) Lanning; two great grandchildren, Zachary Williams and Theron Lanning, several nieces and nephews and special friends, Jane and Harry Kearns of Zanesville. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Mae Tumblin Tisonyai, who died September 22, 1963; three brothers, John, Joe, and Eugene Tisonyai; two sisters, Helen Horvath and Elizabeth Gabor. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the funeral home with Pastor Chip Heim officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
