Alice M. Ribble

Alice M. Ribble, 89, of Zanesville, died at 2:42 A.M. Friday, August 17, 2018 at Cedar Hill Care Center, Zanesville. She was born August 25, 1928, in Muskingum County, Ohio a daughter of the late Clarence and Flora Williams Girton. She retired after 48 years of service at Brockway Glass. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are a son, John D. (Katherine) Ribble; five grandchildren, Scott (Amy) Ribble, Katrina (Howard) Cornell, Alesia Ribble Loudy, LeTisha Stickles and Amanda (Ben) Engelman; ten great grandchildren, Alex Ribble, Adrienne Miller, Noah Cornell, Aleigha (CJ) Johnson, Chole Pickens, Madison Engelman, Marissa Engelman, Karsyn Loudy and Kennedi Loudy; and a sister, Mary Drabik. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Ribble, who died April 17, 1981, seven brothers, Arthur, Elmer, Walter, George, Harry, Glenn, and Clarence Girton and a sister, Della Harlan. Friends and family may call from 2-4 P.M. Monday, August 20, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Kudart officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
