Allen W. Dingess

Allen W. Dingess, 66, of Zanesville, died at 9:54 P.M. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 6, 1958, in Columbus, a son of the late Ansel and Mary (Vasquez) Dingess. Allen was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He worked hard for many years to support his family as an electrician at Paugh Electric. He loved to spend his days fishing, riding his motorcycle, playing chess, and riding jet skis. You could often find him enjoying a beer and a cigarette watching his favorite T.V. show, Married with Children, or listening to his favorite music, but most of all Allen dearly loved spending time with family, his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years Jacquline (Kelley) Dingess; four children, Kelley Martinez, Cresta (Mike) Marshall, Robert Waugh, and Lora Riley; fourteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Helen Dingess, Barbara Dingess, Debbie Thompson and Ada Dingess.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Dingess, and two fur babies, Nakita and Reba.

A cremation will be held under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
