Andrew T. Schultheis, 97, of Zanesville, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Primrose Retirement Community in Zanesville. Andy was born February 9, 1920 to John and Olivia Durant Schultheis in Zanesville. Andy was married to M. Jeanette Wild on October 18, 1947 and enjoyed 66 years of marriage until her passing on November 15, 2013. Andy graduated from St. Nicholas High School and was a veteran of World War II. He worked for Columbia Gas but spent his career at Zanesville Mould Company, retiring after 40 years of service. He was a life-long member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Andy enjoyed fishing and bowling in his younger years and was an avid golfer later in life and enjoyed playing with his sons and other friends. He enjoyed traveling with Jeanette and friends and spent many winter months in Tennessee. He is survived by two sons, Mikell (Carla) Schultheis of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and Steven (Charlene) Schultheis of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren Rebekah Schultheis and Timothy Schultheis; great-grandson, Andrew Payton; a special niece, Janie Baird; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Chester; and a sister, Olive Godfrey. Friends and family may call from 4:00 7:00 P.M. on Friday December 8, 2017 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Entombment will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with full Military honors which will be accorded to him by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and the American Legion Post 29.
