Angela L. Smith

Angela Lynn Smith, 39, of Zanesville, died at 4:54 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2008 at her residence. She was born August 18, 1969, in Zanesville, a daughter of Marcia Hamrick Smith and the late Douglas B. Smith. She was employed in the housekeeping department at Genesis Bethesda Hospital and was an avid bingo player. Surviving are her mother, Marcia (Russell) Adams of South Zanesville; her stepmother, June Smith of Zanesville; three sisters, Debbie Sellars, Heather (Steve Himes) Smith and Heidi (Troy) Murphy, all of Zanesville; three brothers, John (Anita) Searl of Van Wert, Michael Smith and Jack (Dawn) Smith, both of Zanesville; a step sister, Debbi (Randy) Tysonia of Zanesville; a step brother, Russell (Terri) Adams of Zanesville; grandmother, Lura Smith of Zanesville and many nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shanda Angelo; grandfather, George Smith; grandparents, June and Homer Hamrick and grandmother, Blanche Riffle.Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the funeral home with the Rev. Tim Patton officiating. Entombment will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
