Ann Duffy

Ann Duffy, passed away June 20, 2009 in Arlington, VA. Ms. Duffy was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and The Ohio State University. Ms. Duffy worked in advertising for Byer and Bowman and did radio spots on local Columbus radio stations for the Columbus Transit System and for Bob Evans Restaurants, among others. She moved to Virginia in the early 1960's and worked for the Arlington County School system until her retirement. Surviving are a son, John Duffy; her daughter-in-law, Missie Duffy and her grandson, Patrick. She was preceded in death by her brother, Don Duffy. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. A private burial will then take place at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to your local public television network.
