Anna G. (Gray) Arnold

Anna Gene Arnold, 90, of Zanesville, died at 2:15 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Autumn Healthcare of Zanesville. She was born on September 11, 1921 in Zanesville to the late Bliss and Hattie Leibrock Gray. She was a member of the Market Street Baptist Church. All who knew Gene will miss her sense of humor, generosity, kindness and remarkable strength. She gladly shared what she had with friends and family and was always willing to help when called on. At Gene's house you felt truly welcome and knew that you would have lots of laughs, food and fun. We are grateful for the gifts she shared with us, and give thanks that she feels that same warm embrace in heaven today. She is survived by two sons, Tim (Joy) Arnold and Tom (Peggy) Arnold both of Zanesville; a daughter Tammy (Doug) Vinsel of Raleigh, NC; a sister, Janice (Lawrence) Fye of Zanesville; ten grandchildren, Todd (Michelle) Arnold, Jill (Kevin) Martin, Jan (Domenic Palleschi) Arnold, Jon (Andrea) Arnold, Lee Ann (Scott) Shepfer, Mike (Barb) Vinsel, Kerry (Jim) Hazen, Katie (Jeff) Mather, Kristina (Brian) White and Scott Vinsel; nine great grandchildren, Ashelyn, Dustin, Jackson, Cameron, Addison, Landon, Dylan, Johanna and Samantha. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Joseph Arnold Friends and family will be received on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 3-6 p.m. at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 with Pastor Howard Thompson officiating. Anna will be laid to rest next to her husband, Albert at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Road, Dublin, OH 43017.
