Anna Marie Thomas, 101, of Zanesville, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at her home. She was born February 9, 1910, in London, Ohio, a daughter of the late James R. and Miliza Melissa Gallaway Robey. She had worked for Conwell and Bloomer Candy Company and was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church. Anna bowled for 76 years at Military Lanes, Sunrise Bowl and Maysville All Star Lanes and many around the world. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She had many dear friends who she called daily. Surviving are a son, Charles Clifford (June) Thomas Jr. of Galena Park,Texas; three granddaughters, Kit Dunn of Philo, Kelly Dunn of Zanesville and Holly (Steve) Harris of Texas; a grandson, Mark (Kelly) Thomas of Texas; six great grandchildren, Kyle and Connor Thomas of Texas, Josh, Noah and Luke Harris and Alex Dunn; and a special friend and caregiver, Tracy (Michele) Stewart of White Cottage. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clifford Thomas Sr.; a daughter, Wanda Dunn; a sister, Alice Pancake and two brothers; Glenn R. Robey and James W. Robey. Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 with Dr. L. Steven Fewell officiating. Anna will be laid to rest beside her husband, Charles, at Zanesville Memorial Park.
