Anthony “Tony” James Scott, 48, of Pataskala, died June 30, 2021 in Reynoldsburg. He was born February 9, 1973, in Zanesville, a son of James E. and Karen Mannila Scott of Dresden. He was the owner and operator of ASAP Garage Door Services in Pataskala, a catholic by faith, a proud United States Marine Veteran and a graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Tony in his spare time loved riding his ATV’s.
In addition to his parents surviving are a daughter, Madison Taylor Scott; a brother, William Scott; sister, Jennifer (Doug) Hugo; paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Scott; nephew, Cohen Hugo; mother of his child, ReNay ,his special friend, Angie and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles E. Scott and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Lorrain Mannila.
Friends and family may call from 4-6 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2021 BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 with Fr. Martin Ralko officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville with full military honors presented by United States Marines, VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and the American Legion Post 29.
