Arthur L. Barrell

Arthur L. Barrell, 95, of Zanesville, died at 1:45 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2005 at Genesis Extended Care. He was born October 24, 1909 to the late Clay and Lillie (Selsam) Barrell. He retired from the Elyria Chronicle Telegram as a printer in 1974, worked fro the Zanesville Signal for 27 years, was a member of Lodge of Amity #5, Eastern Star #485, and the Market Street Baptist Church. Surviving is a son-in-law, Charles Franks of Zanesville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Toll Barrell and a daughter, Ellen Kay Franks. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2005 with Rev. D. Scott Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
