Ashley E. Cordial

Ashley Elizabeth Cordial, 14, of Zanesville, went to be with her Lord at 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Nationwide Children's Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born October 21, 1993, in Zanesville, the daughter of Larry B. and Theresa Luke Cordial of Zanesville. Ashley was an honor student in the eight grade at the West Muskingum Middle School. She was a member of Girl Scout Troop #87 and avid sports participant and enjoyed life, friends, and animals. Surviving are her parents of the home; a sister, Samanatha of the home, who was her bone morrow donor in July 2005 and a brother, Parker of the home; Maternal grandparents, Ted and Barb Luke of Ostrander, Ohio; Paternal grandparents, Larry D. and Betty Cordial of Mt Vernon, Ohio; Maternal great grandmother, Margaret (Nanny) Luke of Marysville, Ohio and Paternal great grandmother, Geraldine Knisley of Lancaster, Ohio; two aunts, Cindy Cordial of Lexington, Ohio and Tonya (Rick) Perry of Delaware; four cousins, Leslie (Nick) Howard and Luke Meenach, both of Delaware, Ohio, Jill Cordial of Lexington, Ohio and Kim (Vinnie) Ministeri of Gahanna, Ohio. Ashley was preceded in death by Great Grandparents, Gilbert Luke, Naomi and Marvin Herron, all of Marysville, Ohio; Great grandparents, Robert and Elsie Montgomery of Fredericktown, Ohio; Kenneth Knisley of Lancaster, Ohio and Lillian Rigas of Columbus, Ohio; Uncles, Robert Knisley of Bremen, Ohio and Jerry Knisley of Lancaster, Ohio. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the Coburn United Methodist Church with Pastor Doris Flynn officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. till service time at the church. Burial will follow.
