Audrey E. Morrison

Audrey E. Morrison, 81, of Zanesville, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born April 29 1927 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Alexander Reed and Jetta Russell. Audrey was a former employee in the press room at the Old Mosiac Tile Co. and was a longtime member of the U. S. Trotting Association and the Ohio State RacingAssociation. Surviving her husband, William I. Morrison, whom she married May 15, 1954 of the home; two sons, Lon I. Morrison Sr. of Zanesville and Delvin R. Morrison of Zanesville, a grandson, Lon I. Morrison Jr. of Zanesville and a niece, Sarah Lee. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Mildred and Avis, by brothers Thomas, Chester and Kenneth Russell and by a longtime friend Fred Morgan Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the funeral home with Pastor Terry F. Newman officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
