Audrey Elois (Lois) Sprankel,77, of Zanesville, died at 4:35 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2006 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born April 13, 1929, in Ashland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Paul and Leah Suter McGrew. She was a 1947 graduate of Lash High School. She worked at 1st Federal Bank, Bloomer Candy Company and Sun Trucking. She was a member of First Christian Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, sewing and bingo but most of all, she loved her husband of 55 years and her family. She is survived by her husband, Dana Russell Sprankel, whom she married April 14, 1951, of the home; three sons, Tom (Judy) Sprankel of Zanesville, Jerry (Pam) Sprankel of Newark and Jack (Regina) Sprankel of Zanesville; one daughter, Jana (Kenny) Fulks of Nashport; nine grandchildren, Shawn Sprankel, Shane Sprankel, Alaina Fulks, Alan Fulks, Kaylea (TJ) Kaiser, Shannon Sprankel, Nathan Sprankel, Andrea Sprankel and Devin Sprankel; two great-grandchildren, Zane Atwood and Sara Kaiser. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, William Howe and grandchildren, Andy Sprankel and Michael Sprankel (her little angels). Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
