Audrey V. (Jones) St. Clair

June 3, 1935 — May 9, 2024

Audrey Virginia St. Clair, 88, formerly of Zanesville, died at 2:15 A.M. on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at The Ashford of Grove City. She was born June 3, 1935, in Zanesville, oldest daughter of the late John Addison Sr. and Virginia (Bond) Jones. Audrey worked at Huey Ceramics for several years, where she also taught on occasion, and also as an Advanced EMT for the Licking Township EMS.  Audrey and her husband, Bud, were long time hospital volunteers and were awarded the Genesis 2014 Community Service Award. They lived an active life together, enjoying golf, car shows in their 1960 red and white Corvette, and were lovingly involved in the lives of their nieces, nephews, and many neighbors over the years. In her free time, Audrey attended bus tours to several locations including Columbus Broadway Shows, Garden Club Flower Shows, was a collector of Longaberger Baskets. She was always happy to host the family Easter gatherings and was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. She cherished her dogs Jani, Duchess, Skoshi and Suds, but also loved the pets of her family and friends!

Audrey is survived by her siblings John Addison (Kathy) Jones Jr, Ann Kittel, and Verna (Bruce) Wells; nieces and nephews Johnna (Dewey) Jones Hildebrand, Bill (Debbie) Kittel, Brian (Kathy) Kittel, Timothy Micah (Stacey) Jones, Tammy Wells, and Steven Wells; great nieces and nephews, Caitlin Hildebrand, Lauren (Jonathan) Durbin,  Russell (Taylor) Kittel, Eric Kittel, Michael (Nikki) Kittel, Addison Kittel, Jacob Jones and Nathanial Jones; great-great nieces and nephews, Liam Pierson, Wyatt Durbin, Waylon Durbin and Paisley Durbin; and her lifelong friend since childhood Nancy Wheeler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Everett “Bud” St. Clair.

Friends and family may call from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE and are invited to wear purple in memory of Audrey. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the funeral home, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Everett at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
