Barbara M. Bowman

Barbara M. Bowman, 57, of Adams Mills, formerly of Zanesville, died at 8:45 A.M. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House after her long courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 3, 1955, in Zanesville. Barbara was currently employed by RLJ Management, where she worked as a Site Manager for the past 4 years. She also worked for 18 years as an Inspector for Brockway Glass, was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, and she loved to garden. She cherished the time she spent with her children, her grandson, her family and friends. She also enjoyed her trips with Charlie. Surviving are two daughters, Misty Bowman of Grove City and Maegen Bowman of Nashport; a son Patrick Bowman of Dresden; the love of her life Charlie Ross of the home; a grandson Jacob Bowman of Dresden; a brother David Burns of Zanesville; two sisters, Marilyn (Walter) Murphree and Rose (Steve) Oliver, all of Zanesville; and many close friends who were like family to her. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 31, 2013, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at St. James Episcopal Church, 155 N 6th Street, Zanesville, with Father Robert E. Willmann officiating. A dignified cremation will take place after the service.
