Belva Lee Harris, 92, of Zanesville, died at 8:05 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House and Palliative Care. She was born April 28, 1914, in Senecaville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Bowman Smith. Belva retired in the Glaze Sorting Department at the former Mosiac Tile Co. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara (James) Taylor of Mountain Home, Ark. and Sandy (David) Willman of Zanesville; one sister, Pauline Mazza of Mt. Vernon, Oh; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Harris, who died June 13, 1998; one daughter, Norma Angles; a grandson, Jason Charles Gilger, who died August 8, 2005; two sisters and several brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 24, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Pastor Tim Patton officiating. Entombment will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
