Benjamin F. "Pop" Sites, 87, of Zanesville, died at 3:46 P.M. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at the Willow Haven Care Center. He was born September 29, 1927, in Zanesville, a son of the late Paul and Joyce Borton Sites. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and Owner and Operator of Sites Roofing. Ben was very active in Jaycees, enjoyed playing cards, boating, and skiing. Surviving are his wife Bonnie Compton Sites, whom he married September 19, 1957; two daughters, Keely (Eddie) Warden of Zanesville and Kendra Sites Hoffman of Delaware, OH; a son Benjamin G. (Theresa) Sites of North Canton, OH. Pop leaves many cherished memories to his nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Angela McKee; and a brother Thomas Sites. In accordance with Ben's wishes a dignified cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
