Bernard W. Freeman Sr., 87, of Chambersburg, PA, died on January 7, 2013, at Manorcare Health Services in Chambersburg. He was born February 7, 1925, a son of the late Edward and Bertha Burkhart Freeman. He was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran and retired as a truck driver. Surviving are three sons, Bernard (Becky) Freeman Jr. of Rock Creek, OH, Larry (Diane) Freeman of Chambersburg, PA, and Cecil Freeman of West Palm Beach, FL; six grandchildren, Tammy (Boi) Tran, Larry Jr., Gary, Richard, Chris, and Cecil T. Freeman; six great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Marion Norman and Bertha Althabers; and a brother Edward Freeman. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville. Arrangements were entrusted to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville.
