Bernard Lee Marshall, Sr.

Bernard Lee Marshall, Sr., 73, of Zanesville died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2004 at Ohio State University Hospital. He was born March 12, 1931, in Zanesville, a son of the late Carl R. & Catherine Hientz Marshall. He was the owner & operator of Marshall's Cleaning Service. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy J. Hale Marshall, whom he married October 26, 1953, of the home, two daughters, Cathy R. ( Denny ) Simpson and Pamela S. Hiles both of Zanesville, three sons, Larry E. ( Darlene ) Marshall of Zanesville, Bernard Lee (Maggie ) Marshall of Chicago, IL., and Jeffrey A. Marshall of Zanesville, a sister, Dorothy ( Clyde ) Dunne of Zanesville, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianna Marshall in 1963, a sister, Clara Engles, two brothers, Richard & Clarence Marshall. No calling hours will be observed. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville entrusted with arrangements.
