Bernice L. (Baldwin) Farmer

Bernice L. Farmer, 88, of Zanesville, died at 12:10 A.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at her home surrounded by family. She was born January 2, 1928, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Jesse and Mabel Dorsey Baldwin. She retired from the business office at Bethesda Hospital after 20 years of service and was a member of the Muskingum Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Judy (David) Lind and Joyce Allen, all of Nashport; a son Jerry (Mary) Farmer of Zanesville; grandchildren, Terri (Jerid) Lacy, Carrie (Troy) Hindel, Leslie (Tim) Corp and Bethany (Andrew) Spray; great grandchildren, Taylor, Jerin, Tyler, Cole, Heaven, Austin, Bradly, Brycn, Aidyn and Airyn; and a sister Violet Kovaleski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Raymond Farmer whom passed away May 2, 1988; and a son James "Jim" Leslie Farmer. Friends and family may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 8, 2016, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at the Muskingum Presbyterian Church, 4545 Gorsuch Road, Nashport, with Pastor Donna Edsall officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Muskingum Presbyterian Cemetery, Nashport.
