Bernice Lorena (Switzer) Glosser

Bernice Lorena Switzer Glosser, 90, of Zanesville, died at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the Beckett House in New Concord. She was born July 12, 1920, in Sonora, a daughter of the late John and Florence Mitchell Switzer. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church and a retired assembler for United Technologies. Surviving are a son, Robert L. (Kim Close-Hittle) Glosser of Norwich; two daughters, Charlene L. DeVol of Zanesville and Vicki L. Lindell of Nashport; a sister, Francis Glosser of Zanesville; thirteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor L. Glosser, who died May 6, 1973; a son, Richard Glosser; two brothers, Herman and Charles Switzer; and a sister, Margaret Burkhart. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Mr. B.N. Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Dresden Cemetery.
