Betty L. Blake

Betty L. Blake, 86, of Zanesville, died at 10:05 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2006 at the LPN Healthcare Facility in Newark, Oh. She was born in Fultonham, Oh., to the late William L. and Bessie J. Rambo Garrett. She was co-owner of General Concrete and a member of the Coburn United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Becky (William) Page of Zanesville and Janie (Eric) Betts of Newark; 4 grandchildren, Mysti (Doug) Hobson, Brent (Diana) Lavy and Shae Lavy, all of Zanesville and Joshua (Brandy) Lavy of Nelsonville, Oh.; a step-granddaughter, Casey Betts of Tucson, AZ., 6 great grandchildren, Kalynn, Sarah, Hunter and Airah Lavy and Kyle and Kaitlynn Hobson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Martin Blake, who died in 1987 and a sister, Naomi Traylor. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville, Oh where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2006 with Rev. Doris Flynn officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
