Betty L. Esselburn

On May 2, 2009, Betty Lucille Esselburn of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida. Beloved mother of Robert (Denise) Esselburn and grandmother of Katherine and Natalie Esselburn and dear and giving friend of many. Betty was born in Zanesville, Ohio on July 9, 1921. She attended Zanesville High School, graduated from The Ohio State University and later taught school at South Zanesville High School. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and was active in both bridge and garden clubs. Betty loved golf and crossword puzzles and she maintained these interests after moving to Florida in 1988. A memorial service will be held in Zanesville on June 20th at 1:00 p.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church, 516 Shinnick St. in Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
