Betty L. (Wells) Foraker

Betty L. Foraker, 96, of Zanesville, died at 1:35 A.M. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Brookdale Zanesville. She was born August 10, 1924, in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Homer E. and Mabel (Rennie) Wells. She was a homemaker and a member of Uniontown Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed traveling and loved to sew.

She is survived by a daughter, Joy Spangler; two grandchildren, Charlene (Lonnie) Norris and Adam (Kaylie) Spangler; a great-grandson, John (Kelly) Norris; and two great-great-grandchildren, Oliver and Emma Norris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor W. Barr who died in 1964; her second husband, Paul R. Foraker who died in 2003; and a son-in-law, Jack Spangler.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with her great-grandson, John Norris officiating.  She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.

The family requests that self-provided face masks be worn and social distancing observed during the calling hours and funeral service.
