Betty Z. (German) Kenily

Betty Z. Kenily, 95, of Zanesville, died at 3:15 P.M. on Monday, November 2, 2015, at the Adams Lane Care Center. She was born February 19, 1920, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Cyrus S. and Nellie Snyder German. She attended the Meredith Business College, had worked in the Engineering Department for the City of Zanesville, and as an Audit Clerk for J.C. Penney. She was a lifelong Zanesville resident who loved to travel, she enjoyed gardening and puzzles and most importantly her family. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Hubbard Kenily of Zanesville; a step daughter Kay McMullen of Columbus; two grandsons, Jared (Megan Francis) Hubbard of Columbus and Jordan (Emily) Hubbard of Kansas City, MO; a granddaughter Misty Marshall of Hilton Head, SC; a nephew Ed Kenily of Zanesville; and two nieces, Erin Allbritain of Zanesville and Ann (Larry) Longstreth of Chandlersville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband Edward H. Kenily, who died October 20, 1979; a son-in-law John Hubbard; two brothers, Jack and Frank German; a step son-in-law Hon. Robert McMullen; Charles Allbritain; Marie Kenily and Maurice Kenily. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 5, 2015, with Pastor Mark Chow officiating. She will be laid to rest at Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell.
