Betty Malone

Betty Malone, of Zanesville, died at 9:35 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Genesis Health and Rehab in McConnelsville, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Norris and Carrie Eppley McHenry. Betty was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church. She loved animals and was a member of the U. S. Humane Society. Surviving are a daughter, Tamara(Phil) Harper of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Deborah Garber of Chattanooga, TN. and Alissa (Brian) Pease of Chagrin Falls, OH; two great grandchildren, Heath Garber and Abby Garber, both of Chattanooga, TN. and a niece, Valeria Jean Scotte of Zanesville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Malone, who died April 20, 1998 and by two sisters, Helene Barron and Eleanor Scotte. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Zanesville Memorial Park with the Rev. Ray Morrison Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society, 1431 Serenity Lane, Zanesville, Ohio. The Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville are entrusted with all arrangements.
