Betty L. Mohr

Betty Lee Mohr, 84, of Zanesville, died at 5:18 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2006 at the Muskingum County Home. She was born October 24, 1921, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late William and Gladys Edgell. Betty was the former personnel manager at the S. S. Kreesge Co., in Zanesville and later was employed by the Abbott Home for Men. She was a Baptist by faith. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Gene Edgell and wife Elaine, of Zanesville and also her loving pet, P. C. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Mohr, whom died July 20, 2001; by three sisters, Vera Hamler, Gladys Chambers and Ethel Hamelburger and one brother, Russell Edgell. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2006 at the funeral home with the Rev. Tom England officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muskingum County Home.
