Betty Lou (Gardner) Ottenga

Betty Lou Ottenga, 76, of Granville, died at 5:41 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Grace House Assisted Living in Austin, Texas. She was born November 25, 1933, in Cecil, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Cochran Gardner. Surviving are two daughters, Lynn O. (John) Straker of Granville and Beth A. (George) Prevelige of Austin, Texas; a son, Marc E. (Cathy) Ottenga of Gainesville, Florida; and six grandchildren, Cam, Chris, Jake, Jordan, Paige and Wes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Louis Ottenga, who passed away August 18, 1986; a sister, Cass Harrower; and a brother, Bill Gardner. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at noon Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
