Betty L. (Price) Palmer

Betty L. Price Palmer, 78, of Zanesville, went to be with her husband, parents and sister at 2:25 a.m., Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Columbus Colony Elderly Care surrounded by her family. She was born October 6, 1933 in McConnelsville, a daughter of the late Gerald and Ercel Matz Price. She attended the Zanesville Christian Missionary Alliance. Surviving are a daughter, Sandy (Ken) Drenten of Zanesville; two sons, Tony Palmer of Zanesville and Russell (Debbie) Palmer of Adamsville; five grandchildren, Becky Knicely , Matt (Amanda) Palmer, Brian (Sarah Stickle) Palmer, Cory (Melissa) Palmer and Jared Palmer; six great grandchildren, Zachaury, Shiann, Derrick, Kloey, Kaylee and Leelend; a brother-in-law, Gene Angel of Eustis, Florida; a sister-in-law, Betsy Palmer of New Smyrna Beach, Florida and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orin L. Palmer Jr. who passed away on Oct. 24, 2009 and a sister, Nita Angel. Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, OHIO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Andy Winters officiating. Betty will be laid to rest next to her husband, Orin at Adamsville Baptist Cemetery, Adamsville.
