Betty L. Robinson

Betty L. Bonifield Robinson, 89, of Zanesville, died at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at her residence. She was born October 2, 1917, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late John William and Ruby Alice Thomas Bonifield Sr. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church since 1927 and member of First Family of Muskingum County, Pioneer & Historical Society, O.E.S. #52, Associate Member of Jr. Assembly at Bethesda Hospital, Muskingum County Genealological Society and the Brighton Historical Society. She also was a member of the Lady Elks and the Brighton Beautiful Garden Club. Surviving are a daughter, Martha (Steven) Lane of Knoxville, TN; a son, David (Lynda) Robinson of Warren, Oregon; a nephew, Mark Bonifield of Zanesville; two sisters-in-law, Marlene J. Robinson of whom cared for her and Jean Bonifield, both of Zanesville and three grandchildren, Chad (Gretchen) Lane of Knoxville, TN, Jason (Annie) Robinson of Warren, Oregon and Christopher (Aubry)Robinson of Laguana Nigel, CA and a nephew, John Mark Bonifield of Zanesville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Robinson, who died July 22, 1994, and a brother, Jack Bonifield. Betty's wishes were to be cremated and that their be no services. However memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to the Animal Shelter Society, 1431 Serenity Lane, Zanesville, Ohio 43701 or to the charity of one's choice. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville are entrusted with all arrangements.
