Betty M. Rodgers

Betty M. Rodgers, 85, of Philo, died at 10:22 A.M. on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at The Ohio State University Hospital. She was born November 3, 1938, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late William P. and Clara L. (Willison) Yester. Betty was a 1956 graduate of South Zanesville High School. She enjoyed playing cards, swimming and flowers. Above all she loved taking care of her children and grandchildren.

She was the loving wife and best friend to her husband of 63 years, Jim Rodgers, whom she married October 22, 1960. She was the best mom to her three sons, Randy (Bonnie Reed) Rodgers, Rob (Patty) Rodgers, and Chad (Ann) Rodgers, she treasured her six grandchildren, Sondra Rodgers, Kendra (Blake) Dauer, Kayla (Adam) Hanson, Mike (Shelbie) Rodgers, Ashley (Allie) Rodgers and Erin Rodgers; and she adored her three great grandchildren, Avery Dauer, Claire Hanson and Garrett Rodgers.

Private graveside services will be held at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Conard Wolf officiating.
