Betty L. Ryan

Betty L. Ryan, 74, of Zanesville, Ohio, went to be with her Lord at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born October 30, 1931 in Newark, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Grace Northey Eifinger. Betty was a former employee for the East Muskingum Water Authority, a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ, the Philichristi Group and the Women's Guild and Y-City Women's Club. Surviving are four daughters, Marcie (Rick) Harmon of Zanesville, Susan (Mark) Gatton of Nashport, Ann (Ted) Dosch of Stevensville, MI. and Amy ( Bill) Wagner of Upper Arlington, Oh., one sister Joyce (Dave) Zinsmeister of Newark, Oh., one brother William (Betty) Eifinger of Newark, Oh., nine loving grandchildren, Ryan and Ashley Harmon, Adam and Andrew Gatton, Joseph, Amanda and Megan Dosch, Katie and Chase Wagner and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Ryan, whom passed away January 8, 1998. Friends may call 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. Zanesville Ohio and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday March 31, 2006 at the Immanuel United Church of Christ, South 7th St., Zanesville with the Rev. Ron Botts officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel United Church of Christ.
