Betty M. Schuster

Betty M. Schuster, 83, of Zanesville, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2006 at her residence. She was born June 21, 1922, in Chillicothe, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Lizzie Rayburn Boyer. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, retired from Military Lanes and served on the board of directors for the Ohio Women's Inter-City Bowling Tournament. Mrs. Schuster is past president and lifetime member of the Zanesville Women's Bowling Association and was also inducted into the first class of the Zanesville Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Betty was a member of the 600 Club and served her country as a Navy Veteran in World War II. Surviving are her loving husband, Fredrick T. Schuster, whom she married May 10, 1947, of the home, three daughters, Karen (Donald) Kline of Jacksonville, FLA., Pamela Lowe and Fiancee, Larry Young and Bette Ann Stoneburner and fiancee Bill Miracle, all of Zanesville; a son, Fredrick (Kimberly) Schuster of Zanesville; eight grandchildren, Sarah (Josh) Micklos, Jennifer Kline, Erika Upvall, Elyse Erwin, Matt (Cayce) Stoneburner, Michelle (Eric) Radcliffe, Kylie and Freddie Schuster Jr.; two step-grandchildren, Gregg (Debbie) & Doug (Siobhan) Kline; twelve great grandchildren, Layklin Upvall, Sydney & Harlie Erwin, Caiden & Chase Stoneburner, Jaxson Radcliffe, Reese Micklos, John & Tom Kline, Tyler, Macaela & Kiera Kline; a brother, Paul Boyer of Columbus; a niece, Kathy Woodruff and a nephew, Dean Boyer. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy McGrew & Louise Middleton, a grandson, Robert Martin and a son-in-law, Myron Stoneburner. Friends may call two hours prior to services which will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Dr. Alden Towberman officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. Video-Tribute will be available after 5:00 p.m. Saturday June, 10, 2006.
