Betty June (Bauserman) Smart

Betty June Smart, 84, of Zanesville, died at 12:15 P.M. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, Zanesville. She was born December 10, 1933 in Muskingum County, a daughter of the late Clyde and Vera Hupp Bauserman. She retired as the head bookkeeper from First Federal Bank after thirty years. She was a member of Gratiot United Methodist Church, loved spending time with her friends, reading, gardening, planting flowers, and being in the outdoors. She is survived by a daughter, Kim (Tim) Lowe of Nashport; two grandchildren, Stephanie Lowe and Scott (Automn) Lowe; two great-grandchildren, Cyndi and Cale Lowe; brothers, Richard, Russ, Larry (Georgia Lee), Terry (Kay), and Phil (Vickie) Bauserman; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Smart who died May 2017; a sister, Patty Borseth; and an infant sister. William Blair officiating. She will be laid to rest at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Brownsville.
