Betty J. (Cole) Todd

God called another angel home today. Betty J. Cole Todd, 72, of Zanesville, died at 1:25 A.M. on Friday, January 16, 2015, at the Cedar Hill Care Center. She was born October 13, 1942, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Clarence Newton and Margie Van Orsdahl Cole. She was a homemaker and an avid NASCAR fan, a fan of all sports, and was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ. Surviving are three sons, Mark Todd of Zanesville, Michael Todd of St. Petersburg, FL, and Bobby (Sheri Simmons) Todd of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Brittany Golden of Indiana and Jalyn Todd of Zanesville; two great grandchildren, Savannah and Cole Wesley; a sister Jeannine Smith of Zanesville; and two special nephews, Brian (Rhonda) Wood and Doug (Susan) Smith, all of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Clarence "Clancey" Cole, Walter David Cole, Larry Eugene Cole, and her infant brother Alban Cole; and a sister Jo Ann Wood. No calling hours will be held. A graveside service will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home: 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, to help defray funeral expenses.
