Betty L. Webster, 78, of Zanesville, died at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born August 31, 1928, in Stovertown, the daughter of the late William and Edna Baughman Edwards. Betty was a former Customer Service Representive for the J. C. Penny Co. and for many years was a longtime faithful member of the Coburn United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Paul R. Webster of the home; one daughter and son in-law, Patricia (James) Evans of Zanesville; three sisters, Louise Lawyer of Tulsa OK.; Ina Mae Maxwell of Zanesville and Esther (Edward) Jellison of Roseville; two brothers, Leonard (Lucy) Edwards of Zanesville and Wayne (Ruth) Edwards of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, Jimmie (Jill) Evans of Zanesville and Derek (Kara) Evans of Columbus; three great grandchildren, Kyle, Parker, and Rylee. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Smith and Mary Barclay and two brothers, Charles Edwards and Raymond Edwards. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville and one hour prior to services at the Coburn United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at the Coburn United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2007 with the Rev. Dr. Dennis Baker and the Rev. Doris Flynn officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Coburn United Methodist Church.
