Beverly Ann Parsons, 79, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born November 9, 1932, in Nashport, daughter of the late James Henry and Mary Elizabeth Gill Butler. She retired after 10 years of service as an assistant librarian for the Muskingum County Library System and previously worked for Lucas Truck Sales and Essex Wire. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was a Protestant by faith. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Charles William (Bill) Parsons; a daughter, Misty (Tim) Parsons Hampp of Gratiot; a son, William Charles (Chuck) Parsons of Zanesville; a niece, Penny L. (Greg) Kincheloe of Zanesville; and a nephew, Shawn J. (Pam) Butler of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James N. Butler; and a beloved aunt, Ruth Moore. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Beverly will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
