Beverly Ann Winland, 81, of Zanesville, died at 7:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1927, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Frank Charles and Mary Thomas Carmichael. She had worked at Mosaic Tile and had been a cook at Licking View School. She was a member of the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are two sons, David (Kathy) Winland and Douglas (Ellen) Winland, both of Zanesville; three grandchildren, Jason Winland of Powell, Ohio, Kiel Winland of Zanesville and Eli (Neila) Winland of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; a great-granddaughter, Natalie Winland; two brothers, Charles Carmichael of South Zanesville and Harry (Kay) Carmichael of Zanesville and a sister, Norma "Jeanie" Monroe of Canton, Ohio. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Winland Jr., who died May 9, 1992 and a brother, Frank Carmichael. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2008 at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Dupler officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
