Billie E. Hall, Sr.

Billie E. (Double D) Hall Sr., age 68, of Zanesville, died Saturday, September 2, 2006 at his residence. He was born December 23, 1937 in Maysville, Ky., the son of the late Billie and Bernice Simpson Hall. Billie was a truck driver for the Jan Cramer Co, a veteran of the US Army and a member of the VFW George Selsam Post 1058. Surviving are three daughters; Kelly (George) Meredith, Robin Kimble, and Tonya (Ben) Ferrell, all of Zanesville, two sons; Billie N. (Marianne) Hall Jr. and Tim (Jackie) Hall,all of Zanesville, three sisters; Anna Wilkerson, Donna (Teddy) Taylor and Kay (Tom) Reeves, all of Lexington Ky. Fourteen grandchildren and two very special friends, Jack Fleming and John Cannon. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jack William Hall. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m.Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the funeral home with the Rev. Brian Law officiating. Burial will follow at St Paul Cemetery, near Sonora. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold military services at the gravesite.
