Blanche L. Mcneish

Blanche L. (Renie) McNeish, 71, of Zanesville, passed away at 10:15 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2005 at Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care- Morrison House. She was born July 18, 1934, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Jay H. and Wanda McClelland Finley. Mrs. McNeish was a member of the Maranatha Bible Church and a veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are two daughters, Jane E. Stotts and Teresa (Jeffrey) Lorenz, both of Zanesville, a son Stephen (Anja) McNeish of Grove City, four grandchildren, Julie Griffis, Sheryl (Jerry) Angelo, Jordan and Kaylie Lorenz of Zanesville, two great grandchildren, Kristen Stotts and Jerry Angelo, both of Zanesville, numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece Rebecca Larrick of Folsom CA., three sisters in law, Eleanor ( Ralph) Vernon of Zanesville, Carol ( Fritz) Helms of Dresden, and Kay McNeish of Zanesville, three brothers- -in law, Myron McNeish of Adamsville, Rodney (Carole) McNeish and Jeffrey (Faye) McNeish both of Zanesville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leland G. McNeish, who died March 12, 1999, two sisters, Virginia Tuttle and Delores Johnson, by two brothers, Frederick Fitch and Robert (Bart) Finley, by two great grandchildren, Nathaniel Stotts and Gage Angelo and a special friend and sister in-law, Mattie McNeish. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2005, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2005 with the Pastor L. Dale McCallister officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Twp Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care.
