Bruce A. Beard

Bruce A. Beard, 53, of Cambridge, died at 9:10 a.m. Sunday, January 1, 2012 at his residence. He was born January 29, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, a son of Violet F. Honaker of Winter Spring, FL and the late James Joseph Beard. He was employed as a Day Shift Inbound Manager for Dollar General. He was an avid boater, who loved to be on Seneca Lake. He loved his family and was always active. Surviving in addition to his mother, are his loving wife of 22 years, Sandy J. Beard, whom he married September 16, 1989, of the home; a son, Jamie (Amy) Beard of Cincinnati; three daughters, Kristin Beard of Cincinnati and Kelsey and Jordan Beard, both of the home; two sisters, LaDonna (John) Lundy of Lewisville, TX and Robin Beard of Medina, OH; and two brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Beard and James (Kim) Beard, both of Winter Springs, FL. He was loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the First Christian Church of Cambridge, 1127 Beatty Ave., Cambridge with Rev. Deborah Bolen officiating.
