Bula M. Bolin

Bula M. Bolin, 92, of Zanesville died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born July 3, 1912 at Roseville, a daughter of the late Roy M. & Zella B. Swingle Smith. She was a longtime member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Eastern Star 485, member of Senior Bethesda League, Good Samaritan Charity Circle, Zanesville Womans Club, longtime volunteer at Good Samaritan and Bethesda Hospital and former member of Zanesville Country Club. Bula assisted her husband Kenneth in the operation of The Bolin Funeral Home. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth O. Bolin, whom she married July 11, 1932, of the home, one son and daughter-in-law, Russell M. & Marie J. Bolin of Zanesville, two granddaughters, Pam ( Ron ) Derry of Baltimore and Trudy ( Jim ) Michaels of Zanesville, five great grandchildren, Chad ( Melissa ) Derry of Villa Hills, Kentucky, Brad ( Kristina ) Derry of Baltimore, Kyle Sowers and Kelsey Sowers both of Zanesville and Krista Derry of Baltimore, a sister, Doris Randolph-Wood of Zanesville, and a special companion Abigail. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald L. Smith Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2004 at The Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004 with Rev.
