Carl T. Kirkbride, 72, of Nashport, died at 3:10 P.M. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at the Oaks at Bethesda. He was born January 21, 1943, in Coshocton, a son of the late Thurman and Erma Thomas Kirkbride. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, had worked for White Chevrolet, was a member of Hopewell Free Methodist Church, and was a car enthusiast. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Phyllis Fox Kirkbride, whom he married June 23, 1964; a son James (Tina) Kirkbride of Dresden; three grandchildren, Tyler, Anissa, and Sierra; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Wilkins of Zanesville and Karen Fox of Westerville. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 13, 2015, with Pastor Daniel Neville officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville, with full military honors being presented by the United States Army in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058.
