Carol Lynn Noble Cavinee, 76, of Zanesville, died at 9:13 P.M. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born November 20, 1936, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Cyrus E. Noble and Grace Mildred Noble Garrett. She worked for many years as an accountant for the Department of Defense, and was a long time member of St. James Episcopal Church. She was an active church member, serving on numerous church and diocesan committees and was recently honored for service within the diocese. Surviving are two daughters, Jeannine Lynn (Robert) Bouterse of Baden, PA. and Kathleen Westenhouser of Zanesville; four sons Joseph W. Cavinee of Kissimmee, FL., Robin W. Cavinee of Newark, Charles L. (Rebecca) Cavinee Jr. of Newark, and Phillip R. (Cora) Cavinee of Newark; eleven grandchildren, Heather (David) Bouterse-Conkle, Robert T. (Kristi) Bouterse, Douglas (April) Bouterse, Candyss (Rodney) Bryant, Kenneth Westenhouser III, Carrie (Chris Ryan) Westenhouser, Michael Westenhouser, Jason (Elizabeth) Cavinee, Nathan Cavinee, P.J. Cavinee, and Ryan Cavinee; seventeen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; a sister, Jeannine (William) Cunningham of Lancaster; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Coll of Lancaster; two nephews, Douglas (Lori) Nixon of Lake Kauneonga, NY, and Richard Middleton of Raleigh, NC; and numerous cousins and loved ones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Charles Cavinee Sr., who died July 23, 2007; a grandson Brian David Bouterse; and a son-in-law Kenneth L. Westenhouser II. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 5, 2013, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at St. James Episcopal Church, 155 North 6th Street, Zanesville, with Rev. Robert Willmann officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the St. James Episcopal Church Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Rector's Discretionary Fund: 155 North 6th Street, Zanesville, Ohio, 43701.
