Carol L. (Mccoy) Stansfield

Carol L. McCoy Stansfield, 63, of Philo, died at 12:01 p.m. on June 15, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born August 16, 1949 in Athens County, a daughter of the late William and Audrey Thompson McCoy Sr. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren very much. Surviving are a son, David Shane (Crystal) Conner of McConnellsville; two daughters, Sherry Babb of McConnellsville and Shelly Marie (Rusty) Butler of Philo; ten grandchildren, Klarissa, Kearsty, Elizabeth, Jason, Derek, Travis, Christina, Jessica, Cody and Cera; two great grandchildren, Braylon and Bryson; three brothers, William (Bev) McCoy Jr., David McCoy and Randy McCoy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Brenda McCoy. No calling hours will be observed. A dignified cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, sympathy cards may be sent to Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, OH 43701 in C/O Carol Stansfield.
