Carolyn K. Davis, 70, of Zanesville, died at 9:55 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2006 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born February 1, 1936 in Ashley, Ohio, a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Harry "Red" Kohler. She retired after 36 years of service at Lear Corporation. Carolyn enjoyed photography, taking many pictures of family, flowers and her doll collection of which she was an avid collector. She was a very talented seamstress. Surviving are three daughters, Brenda (T.C.) Davis-Bagwell of Columbus, Georgia; Christina (R.P.) Kent of Hubert, NC. and Sally Paskell (Alan Alvarez)of Sioux City, Iowa; a son, Glenn Eric (Debbie) Davis of Zanesville; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Kohler and Thomas Kohler, both of Ashley, Ohio; a longtime high school friend, Charlotte Raus of Ashley, Ohio; her best friend, Mary Shumate of Zanesville; all her friends at Gambro Dialysis, and her evil watch cat, Tinkerbell. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Harrison Davis, who died in 1970 and her longtime friend, Kenneth Hunt. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2006 at the funeral home with Rev. Dean Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville.
