Carolyn L (Sauerbrey) Robison

Carolyn L. Robison, 63, of Zanesville, died at 12:22 P.M. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Genesis Hospice- Morrison House. She was born January 30, 1950, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Elden and Eleanor Wilbur Sauerbrey. She worked as a nurse at Fairfield Medical Center, had worked at Jo Ann Fabrics, and was an instructor at Mid East Career and Technology Center where she taught nursing. She was a member of Muskingum Presbyterian Church, and she loved to work in her garden. Surviving are her loving companion Richard T. Kirkendall of the home; a daughter Gina Wilson of Toledo; two sons Tony (Tracey) Robison of Heath and Evan (Gina) Robison of Cincinnati; two step-daughters Alethea (Brian) White of Philo and Angie (Carrie) Kirkendall of Dresden; two sisters Phyllis (Ted) Putman of Williamsburg, VA and Martha (Rev. Tom) Snapp of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; a brother Wilbur (Annis) Sauerbrey of Dresden; and six grandchildren McKenna, Kayla, Rylee, Baylee, Marcus, and Mason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Joe and Hazel Kirkendall. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 18, 2013. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice- Morrison House: 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
